By creating an account or using this platform you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

GLS is an independent accreditation and quality-assurance body. GLS accreditation incorporates principles drawn from ISO 21001:2025 but GLS is not ISO, is not an ISO certification body, and GLS accreditation is not an ISO certification. GLS accreditation is not a statutory or regulatory licence.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and by team members you invite.
• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, misrepresentation or platform abuse.

• Submit accurate, current and complete evidence that you have the right to share.
• Notify GLS of material changes to an accredited programme, delivery model or organisation.
• Cooperate with continuous monitoring, surveillance checks and renewal reviews.
• Do not submit personal data of learners beyond what a criterion genuinely requires; anonymise where possible.

AI analysis supports mapping and gap identification. All accreditation, conditional accreditation, deferral and refusal decisions are made by qualified GLS reviewers. Decisions are made on the evidence submitted. Submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation.

• GLS seals, badges, certificates and reference numbers may be used only for the specific programme and period accredited.
• Marks must not be altered, and must not imply ISO certification, regulatory approval or endorsement beyond the scope granted.
• Rights to use GLS marks end immediately on expiry, suspension or withdrawal of accreditation.
• GLS may publish and verify accreditation status, and may correct or withdraw published records.

Where fees apply they are set out at the point of application or in your order. Accreditation fees cover assessment work and are not contingent on a favourable outcome. Unpaid fees may result in suspension of accreditation or platform access.

GLS may suspend or withdraw accreditation where evidence is found to be false or misleading, monitoring obligations are not met, conditions are not resolved by the stated deadline, or GLS marks are misused. You may appeal in writing within 28 days of a decision.

You retain ownership of evidence and course materials you upload and grant GLS a licence to use them for assessment, monitoring, audit and record-keeping purposes. GLS retains ownership of the standards, criteria frameworks, platform, marks and reports it produces.

The platform is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms and will publish the revised date above; material changes will be notified to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless local mandatory law requires otherwise.
